This section is still settling. The common thread is attention: what gets noticed, what gets smoothed over, and what kinds of language let institutions move past contradictions without feeling them.
The AI notes begin with AI sycophancy as digital priesthood. From there, AI sycophancy and self-incurred immaturity, Interface friction and critical thinking, and Radical AI defaults circle the same problem from different angles. I am interested in tools that make thinking faster while quietly making judgment easier to outsource.
The attention notes are more personal. Loss of curiosity and The Fat Jesus Metaphor are rougher pieces, but they belong near the AI notes because they are also about comfort, speed, and what people stop asking.
The institutional and political thread starts with Teaching festival and expands into The Useful Instability of the West.
A smaller workplace-language note sits near that thread: Don’t JADE?. It is about what happens when a legitimate concern gets dragged into a discussion of tone, motive, or personality.
